UAS 100. Career Explorations and Intro to Unmanned Aircraft Systems. 1 Credit.

Covers basic information of flight applications as they relate to careers as a professional unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) pilot. Prerequisites: (WR 115 and RD 115) or IRW 115 and MTH 20 or equivalent placement.

UAS 101. Unmanned Aircraft Systems Basic Pilot. 2 Credits.

Covers the knowledge required to complete the FAA 14 CFR Part 107 Pilot Certification test which is required to obtain licensure/certification as an unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) pilot. Includes the FAA Airman Certificate Standards (ACS) in the following five areas: Regulations, Airspace Classification and Operating Requirements, Weather, Loading and Performance, and Operations. Prerequisite: UAS 100 or instructor permission, and (WR 115 and RD 115) or IRW 115 and MTH 20 or equivalent placement.

UAS 102. Pilot in Command Operations. 2 Credits.

Explores multiple flight applications as they relate to professional UAS pilots. Investigates various UAS. UAS 101 or proof of passing the FAA 14 CFR Part 107 Pilot certification exam required. Prerequisite: UAS 101 or instructor permission, and (WR 115 and RD 115) or IRW 115 and MTH 20 or equivalent placement.
